Overview

A cart tows you slowly uphill through the forest above Pigeon Forge, with the Smoky Mountain foothills opening out behind you, and then releases you at the top for the longest downhill mountain coaster run in the region — well over a mile of elevated steel track.

The descent is yours to control. A hand brake on either side of the seat lets you take the banked corners and the full 360-degree spirals as slowly or as fast as you dare, with the track dipping and rising through the trees and the whole thing driven by nothing but gravity.

It runs late into the evening with the track lit, which is a different experience again — dark trees, lights ahead of you, no sense of where the next corner goes. Children below the height limit can ride in a double cart with an adult.
