Mountain Top Garden Waterway Museum Guidelines
1. This park is a paid national historic site. To protect the environment and visitors' rights, smoking is prohibited throughout the area. Except for guide dogs, pets are not allowed to walk freely. Owners must use carriers, strollers, or pet bags to bring their pets into the park.
2. Those who damage exhibits or facilities in this park may face criminal charges for destruction of property and be liable for civil damages.
3. The park may partially or fully close its areas and facilities in case of natural disasters, incidents, other force majeure events, or for management and maintenance needs.
The maintenance and management of national historic sites within this park shall comply with the relevant provisions of the Cultural Heritage Preservation Act.
5. Those wishing to hold events in this park must submit an application to our bureau at least one month in advance and may proceed only after approval; the relevant borrowing regulations shall follow our bureau's guidelines for borrowing historic monuments and buildings under management.
Precautions for Zuozhen Fossil Park
1. Visitors entering this park must comply with the relevant regulations outlined in these guidelines. The park reserves the right to stop, deny entry, or expel any individuals engaging in the following behaviors:
No outside food, beverages, or pets allowed.
Smoking, excessive drinking, or carrying prohibited or dangerous items.
—No drinks in cups or cans allowed inside the indoor venue.
Spitting, urinating/defecating in public, or littering with fruit peels, paper scraps, chewing gum,***********butts, or other waste that pollutes the environment.
Climbing, stealing, picking flowers, damaging lawns or facilities.
Nudity, indecent exposure, causing disturbances, creating noise, or other improper behavior that disrupts public peace or order.
—Persons carrying animals, livestock, or other pets (except guide dogs, hearing dogs, or service dogs).
- Skating, rollerblading, skateboarding, or riding vehicles (except for strollers, wheelchairs, and mobility scooters).
—Persons with infectious diseases or those suffering from special/severe illnesses without medical personnel (or caregivers) in attendance.
—Lighting fires, cooking (grilling) food, setting off firecrackers, flying kites, or releasing other items.
- Peddling goods, setting up stalls, distributing advertisements or promotional materials, begging, or renting out children's amusement equipment.
Engaging in ball games or other activities that endanger visitors' personal safety, or using facilities improperly or in a non-standard manner that affects public access within the park.
—Without permission from the park, conducting gatherings, speeches, exhibitions, performances, competitions, overnight stays, setting up tents, flags, banners, tables and chairs, using drones, filming commercial advertisements, surveys, or other activities.
—Other behaviors deemed by the park management to hinder operations.
2. Those who violate the provisions of the preceding points, refuse to comply with instructions, or leave the premises will be reported to the police or other relevant authorities for handling.
3. Visitors must not damage or alter the original state of the park. No resources within the park may be removed without approval. Those who damage plants, exhibits, or facilities in the park may face criminal charges for destruction and be liable for civil damages.

In 1971, fossil enthusiast Pan Changwu obtained a rhino tooth from two students. He then excavated it with the help of many parties and named it "Hayasaka Chinese rhinoceros subspecies". It lived in a thorny forest environment from about 900,000 to 450,000 years ago.

Presenting the unique natural and cultural landscape of the "Homeland of Fossils," this exhibition explores the precious treasure trove of Taiwanese fossils, revisiting the present and past of Taiwanese primates, and exploring the unique characteristics and stories of fossils unearthed in Taiwan, including crocodiles, sika deer, buffalo, porcupines, tigers, and black bears.
