How this calculator works

Flights use sourced return-fare ranges to Kathmandu per departure city from KAYAK India, picked by season: January is usually the cheapest month, September and October (trekking and festival season) the most expensive. If you go by road or train, leave out the flight line and add your own fare.

Visa: Indian citizens need no visa for Nepal and pay no fee; carry an original passport or voter ID. So no visa cost is added.

Hotel is per room per night for your travel style (two adults share a room). Food and transport are per person per day, and children under 12 count as half on the ground. Attractions you tick use live HolidaySG "from" prices. Everything is converted to rupees at HolidaySG's exchange rates; ranges are for planning, not quotes, and any figure not directly sourced is marked as an estimate.
