Beyond the touch pools the collection ranges widely for its size. Reef tanks, moray eels and jellyfish sit alongside walk-through habitats with lemurs, sloths, kangaroos and small primates, a penguin exhibit, and an aviary where birds land on your outstretched hand to feed.
It is a compact indoor space, easily covered in ninety minutes to two hours, with staff stationed at each station to guide contact and answer the questions children inevitably ask. Booked encounters and feeding sessions let you go further and spend time with individual animals.
